About Me
I am deeply grateful to be part of the healing process of others. I came to this profession after having received the benefits of therapy myself, and wanted to share that gift.
It has been my personal quest to discover how I can contribute to the world in a meaningful way.
I am inspired by a love of nature and wild spaces, and am an avid creative writer. I have a particular kinship with creative people, out of the box thinkers, artists, and the highly sensitive.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California (MFT#46606) and Florida (MT 3717). I earned my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology at San Francisco State University and took additional graduate level courses at Capella University. My Bachelor's Degree in the Humanities including literature, music, and philosophy is from New College of Florida.
My work experience includes 17 years in the field as behavioral specialist in family homes and schools; elementary school therapist; therapist in private practice; a Clinical Director at two Community Based Agencies, and a hospital counselor focusing on maternal mental health.
